Mark Herbick

Mark Herbick is the Founder and CEO of Pursant, LLC, a middle-market advisory firm specializing in mergers and acquisitions, private capital market financing, transaction advisory services, financial leadership support, and business value enhancement consulting. The firm’s integrative and customized suite of services provides the insight and guidance clients need to confidently navigate strategic transactions, address complex financial matters, and enhance enterprise value.

Prior to founding Pursant, Mark was a serial entrepreneur and an active buyer and seller of businesses. He bought, sold, and operated over a dozen companies of his own and has advised on countless strategic transactions across a variety of industries, including the building services contracting (BSC) sector. He grew his businesses through acquisitions, strategic divestitures, and organic growth.

During his time as an operator, Mark realized that maximizing enterprise value required both operational excellence and proficiency in executing strategic transactions. He honed his expertise in these areas and, in 2010, founded Pursant, LLC. Today, the firm supports dozens of transactions annually—many within the BSC sector. Mark has personally advised on over 200 exit transactions, giving him and the Pursant team deep and practical insight into the world of strategic transactions, particularly in the BSC space.
