Assumption of the Risk and Waiver of Liability Relating to 2021 Contracting Success Conference Access by Participants

The novel coronavirus, COVID-19, has been declared a worldwide pandemic by the World Health Organization. COVID-19 is extremely contagious and is believed to spread mainly from person-to-person contact. As a result, federal, state, and local governments and federal and state health agencies recommend social distancing and have, in many locations, prohibited the congregation of groups of people. Governmental restrictions may change at any time without prior notice. As such, BSCAI cannot guarantee eligibility to travel or to participate in the 2021 Contracting Success Conference if restrictions change. Additionally, if 2021 Contracting Success Conference attendees choose to attend the 2021 Contracting Success Conference and enter onto the 2021 Contracting Success Conference premises, they may be exposing themselves to and/or increasing your risk of contracting or spreading COVID-19. BSCAI and its members, officers, officials, directors, instructors, contractors, agents, employees, and any other representative (collectively “Entities”) and the event venue will seek to implement preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19 consistent with the guidance and recommendations of public health agencies for slowing the transmission and exposure to COVID-19 which may include, but not be limited to, health questionnaires for all 2021 Contracting Success Conference participants, sanitation procedures, and physical distancing measures at the event venue and during the 2021 Contracting Success Conference.

We will be updating this page as the event draws closer with detailed information about what you can expect when you attend the BSCAI 2021 Contracting Success Conference.  Be sure to check your state's travel restrictions when planning to attend this event, as well.
