BSCAI cares about the health and safety of our community and attendees, and is committed to providing a healthy meeting environment and experience at the BSCAI conference, taking place in Chicago, October 12-14, 2022.
BSCAI will follow all best practice recommendations by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration, as well as abide by the legal mandates and recommendations from the State of Illinois, the City of Chicago and Cook County. Masks are no longer required on public transportation conveyances and at transportation hubs, but the CDC continues to recommend that people wear masks in indoor public transportation settings at this time.
The CDC recommends making sure you are up-to-date with COVID-19 vaccines and boosters; testing when you experience COVID-19 symptoms; and continuing to follow all isolation and quarantine requirements.
For the BSCAI 2022 Annual Convention, as well as for the 2022 ISSA Show North America:
- BSCAI highly suggest wearing a mask during events but has not made it mandatory for neither vaccinated or non-vaccinated attendees.
- BSCAI and ISSA will not require proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test to access events.
